Housing Rehabilitation
CMHDC administers federal and state grants for home improvement.
All programs have special guidelines and/or restrictions.
All applicants must be income qualified, own and occupy the home, and have proof of paid taxes and paid home owner’s insurance.
In most cases, a lien is placed on the home, whereby CMHDC collects the pro-rated amount owed, if the home is sold before the lien expires.

RESTORE PROGRAM:
Available to persons 62 years of age or over for emergency home repair projects.
Grant amount not to exceed $6,500 per home.
