All of CMHDC’s apartments are one bedroom units. To qualify, a household must either have a person over the age of 62 or have a member who has a permanent disability.All of our apartments come with rent subsidies. Tenants pay 30% of their monthly income, as adjusted by allowable deductions, for rent and utilities. Each of our apartment buildings have a full service elevator, a community room for social gatherings and are wired for cable tv and internet access. Tenants can have pets, within certain restrictions.
All of CMHDC’s properties are stops on the Greene County Bus line.
Senior Housing
To qualify, the household income must be under 50% of HUD Median Income. For a single person, that’s $23,650 per year, for a couple, $27,000 per year. In these units, households must have a member over the age of 62.
Housing for the Disabled
To qualify, the household income must be under 50% of HUD Median Income. For a single person, that’s $23,650 per year, for a couple, $27,000 per year. Households can be of any age but one member must have a permanent physical or mental disability. Only applies to Fairground Estates and Autumn Grove.

Autumn Grove Apartments
32 Apartments at Autumn Grove is located at 775 Embought Road, in Catskill across from the Catskill Elementary School. It is minutes away from our local WalMart and Walgreens Pharmacy. It is a short distance from Catskill Village with a variety of shops and services.
Fairground Estates Apartments
24 Apartments at Fairgrounds Estates is located at 777 Main Street, Cairo just Route 23. It is located near the center of Cairo.
Hemlock Nob Apartments
12 Apartments at Hemlock Nob is located at 6222 Main Street, Tannersville, on Route 23A behind the Bank of Greene County. With a panoramic view of the Catskills, Hemlock Nob is located just outside the resort village of Tannersville, with a variety of shops and services.
Kaaterskill Manor Apartments
21 Apartments at Kaaterskill Manor is located at 163 Jefferson Avenue, Catskill on the grounds of the Kaaterskill Long Term Care facility near the Greene County Medical Arts complex. It is also just a short distance from Catskill Village.
